Our PMs love using the Plan view since it allows them a Gantt chart view of the project with the ability to add in the fields they wish to see. However, we use the description field to add notes to a task if it requires more explanation or color. We also use the Chatter feed for posting status updates on a task and task group. This request is two-fold: It would be really great if we could pull long text fields or the Chatter feed into the Plan view so we can linearly see status updates next to task at hand. It would also be great if we could add in fields related to the Task Group into the Plan view as well. Our current workaround is to use a report for both chatter posts on the task and chatter posts on the task group.
