Show List Color on Overdue Tasks on Plan View / Multiple "finished" stages

    It is now possible to configure multiple ways to complete tasks in TaskRay - you can learn more about enabling this behavior in this article.

    Hi Robert,

     

    In the Gantt chart, if the task is overdue, will it show red or the list color?  I'm looking for the list color, even if it is overdue.  From what I'm reading, I don't think what you have sent changes that.  It would still show as red.  Please let me know if I am incorrect.  Thanks!

    Hi Rich,

    For your use case, if you were to configure the 'Customer Review' List value to complete tasks, it would prevent tasks from showing as overdue in all views when they're assigned to that value.  You could then assign tasks to a final 'Finished' value (or another value that is also set to complete tasks) after the customer review is complete to keep track of the fact that the task passed through that stage.

    Do the options provided by the new enhancements in the November 2019 release help you account for this step in your process?  We really appreciate your feedback - it helps us make sure that new features are useful for as many customers as possible!

    Hi Robert,

    Yes it does work.  Not necessarily what I was expecting, but it works.  I will have to update reports based on the list instead of completed, but that should be fine.  The only other thing to consider would be if it is overdue, I might want to see the color of this list to know how "bad" it is, for instance, not started vs. started vs. testing.  But perhaps another subject for another day.
