When all tasks in a task group have been completed, show the Task Group as complete in plan view

In the public dashboard "To Do" view, be default you should be presented with only open tasks that are still to do. A filter could be included to allow completed tasks to be included if desired.

My end users love Performance View where they can see all of their projects at once. They'd love to take it a step further and have the ability to complete Tasks and Tasks Groups within this tab.
I understand a quick click over to My Work Tab can do this but less clicking saves more time.
Any questions please feel free to reach out, thanks!

The "New Project" button is Performance View allows for Users to by-pass automations configured in Salesforce. Looking to have this configuration align with Salesforce functionality. IE: the ability to hide this button similar to how buttons can be hidden for related lists in Salesforce page layouts.

Limit who can edit/modify the templates. We tried and it limits who can then stitch in templates. We want users to be able to stitch in templates. We just don't want them to have access to edit the templates. Create roles for which users could make edits to templates.

Often times someone sends an email instead of doing a chatter post that I want to include on the communication chronology on a specific task card.
I know we can email an email to task ray to unassigned and then assign the project afterwards. But I don't need a new task card, i just need the email added to a given task.
Could you:
- Follow your existing process of sending the email to unassigned.
- Then, add a checkbox where they would check to 'Add to Chatter' and
- If they check the box, have them required to enter in the Task ID: TSK-00157426 as well?
- Then, using a flow do a chatter post to the specific Task ID Card?
- Then, delete the original unassigned card?
Losing communication because it ends up buried in email or spending time copying and pasting from email to the given Task ID's chatter is time consuming.
Any consideration you could give to this request, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Ability to merge tasks without losing time entries.
Merge screen brings up standard fields on both tasks, you select which one to keep.

Have a column added to show if a task has a checklist and the progress the task has to completing those tasks in the checklist.

When a task is blocked, allow the ability to add a note to that task or require a reason why the task is blocked. Will keep for reporting purposes to understand what the blocker is/was.

It would be great to have the ability to have one task in two projects. Or a way to link two tasks together so that when you update one it updates the other one.
For example: We are planning a fundraising campaign with dates that that our communications department needs to be aware of. I would like to have the task, Send Kick off Email, in our fundraising campaign projects AND in our communications calendar project. That way if dates change or if it gets marked completed in one project it will already be updated in the other project.

We use the validation rule where you can't complete a task that has an incomplete predecessor. This means that it's not helpful to see tasks that can't be completed, especially when it's another staff member who needs to complete the predecessor task.
Most annoyingly, if the staff member with the predecessor task is late in completing it the other staff member has an overdue task that they can't do anything about!

This is a 2 part request:
- # tasks to allow easy predecessor management so that we can easily see what row # the predecessor is tied to (MS project feature)
- Add predecessors as an available field in plan view so that when #1 is fulfilled, we can easily see the row # that is the predecessor and allow updates to that field from there.

I think a great idea to consider is updating the chatter tab to use Lightning Chatter vs. Classic Chatter interface. This is how it currently looks in many places in TaskRay:
If it were updated to use a lightning chatter feed additional features would be available like referencing a record in the post that automatically becomes a hyperlink, posting multiple images within a single chatter post (just as I'm doing in this idea here) and so forth as shown below when you view a record page of TaskRay (or any other record in lightning):
I'm not sure how difficult this is for TaskRay to do, perhaps this is a major overhaul to use lightning components / pages more instead of visualforce pages but would recommend this be considered when able. Thanks!

Having just spent a whole day downloading, Uploading, modifying CSV files with updated IDs to move ~25 templates from a lower org to Prod It would be nice if Taskray had a tool that would list out all the templates and bundle them up and "deploy" them to a different Org. It's a real pain to keep track of all the interdependency and update CSV files with a new id to upload.

Provide the ability for an alternative means of adding external (non-SF) project participants, (such as a customer contact) to tasks. Currently, this is only possible if the user is the task owner or by adding a custom field(s) to the the task object.
It’s not reasonable to expect a bunch of queues to be set up for random groups of project participants. And, External Sharing allows communication of the project data to outside entities but does not confer any ownership or accountability that can be attributed to a person who is responsible for the task(s).
Not every Task Ray participant in a project is going to be a SF user in our instance. There need to be some form of object or set of fields that permit Contacts or even just a list of project participants to be included in tasks even when those participants are not users. Even if they were users, only one user can be assigned to the task owner, when it’s clear in most PM products that any number of people can be assigned to a task (or even groups).
While it may be in everyone's interest to help Salesforce increase the user community, that is not realistic when simply trying to convey accountability for tasks and communicate that to customer management.

Create a "subtask" view of tasks that need to be completed for a major task. This can be done in many popular PM tools, but there is no equivalent for this in TaskRay. An option would be to expose checklists as a kind of subtask within some of the project task views, such as the task list, Gantt chant or spreadsheet Views.
This is important because sometimes the work items that need to be done only require a checklist. Tasks don't need to be assigned to items that are reviewed or discussed in a meeting for the customer to acquire as deliverables. They are truly just checklist items, but they need visibility to establish what work is being done and who is the item owner. Yes, some deliverables require a separate task in the plan but a lot of things in a plan just need to be checked off. That is why the option of displaying the checklist in the task view should be considered.

Currently One Product Code is mapped to one STITCH task group relationship. We need the frame work when AUTO STITCH detects the Product sold you can choose from different Task Groups (Each Task Group has different processes or languages)
We have found that the lack of national language support by TaskRay forces us to create more templates. The auto stitching between our sales order and template then doesn’t work because of it’s 1:1 relationship, we are then forced to support multiple templates and manual stitching without any automation. We have investigated extensively with Salesforce and our system architect and there is no application that can provide translation of the data held within the TaskRay application, translations are only provide within salesforce for the tabs and user fields but not App data. We would like TaskRay to provide the technical capability for a common product/stitch template to be displayed in multiple languages to suit the customers locality with the translations being provided by the TaskRay customer and not TaskRay. This would enable the auto stitch and email notifications to work in local languages, promote global uniformity by using common product templates and reduce template maintenance overhead

Ability to auto flag the "LOCK DATES" field = TRUE when a task is marked completed automatically,
If a task is changed LIST value or status of task and is no longer "FINISHED" auto update the "LOCK DATES" field = FALSE
This functionality will prevent the dates to move or shift after a task is completed, if something else in the project shifts or user wants to adjusts durations of predecessors not yet completed the tasked with LOCK DATE = True will not move at all

When users add columns in the PLAN view or SPREADSHEET view
Add functionality at the column header to have a drop down to filter for field values, instead or create a board filter users would find this much easier to filter for what they are looking for and EXPORT to PDF

When adding a lot of columns to the Spreadsheet view the columns width gets compressed, but the field values get truncated.
Users would like to mouse over or hover over the cell and display the full text of that cell with out having to make the column width wider

Improve the functionality to Export --> Print (PDF) and Export to Excel (CSV)
- More options to include Gantt view or just task names and other columns.
- If export from SPREDSHEET view - if the rows have a filter applied the Print functionality prints all rows
- Print to fit project plan to one page option, or give the user more options how they want fit the entire plan in one page instead they currently get multiple pages some blank pages - improve the Print preview options to get the best customer facing print out report
- Print setting at the app settings to allow for company logo so all users have that logo graphic by default every time they print the project plan (currently they have to do it manually each time)
- Customize what users what to show or hide from the Print options
- Export to file (CSV) include to export to (EXCEL) with formatting options - Grouping tasks by the TaskRay Groups, colors of the LIST values auto filtering the column headers

While creating a new Template (Marked as Draft) users can not "Stitch" insert a Task Group from another template if it is also marked DRAFT, only if it is Active template
Once a new Task Group is created in say a Draft Template, Users are not able to insert / clone that into another Draft Template. That means if that new Task Group is going to be reused in multiple templates, Users have to rebuild exactly the same in all other templates to use it. Stitching and cloning can work with Active Templates, which it should not. It also works for adding into other Projects. But does not seem to work for Draft Templates.
Reduce the effort for reproducing identical Task Groups to be used across multiple Templates being developed in Draft status. Will save a lot of time and reduce errors from manually re-creating.

It would be great to add Roles TaskRay Templates and then once turned into an active project, be able to assign a user to that role and it populates the various tasks/sub-tasks already laid out in the template. For example, we know certain tasks are owned by the Project Manager, but may not know who that project manager is yet. Would save lots of clicking.

We need to track if Licensed users log in to TaskRay - including External community Users
Last login date (SFDC does not have reports to individual apps, they report on if they log in to salesforce platform)
How often they log in (trend report) we need to see historical data points of how often the use the app, last 3 months, last 6 months, last year...

The separate tabs for TaskRay is a great new feature. I'd like to see the details or a summary title on the tab instead of TaskRay | Salesforce there. The name of the project or even the start of the name would help so that I know which tab is which when just looking at the tabs of the web browser. This will speed up my work even further.

With Dynamic Forms we can now configure lightning records to show specific fields and sections conditionally without the need for using Record types. However this does carry over to the TaskRay Kanban cards.

When in spreadsheet view, the default order isn't super clear and the way to sort them doesn't make a lot of sense either. Is there a way to get them in chronological order?
Also, the deleting works to delete tasks. But when I go back to the plan view, all of the task groups are still there. Is there a way to make it so that when I delete all, that the task groups are also deleted and not just the tasks?
