Currently, you are only able to move a task to a status like In Progress or Completed. It would be nice to show a task with a percent complete.
Task A takes 3 weeks and is 20% complete vs Task A takes 3 weeks and is In Progress

Please refer to https://support.taskray.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000423668-Add-Time-Entries
There is a NOTE in the article which says "The checklist name is automatically added to the Notes field, providing detailed reference to the checklist item when the time is rolled up to the task."
I would like to know have option to disable above automation mentioned in NOTE regarding auto population of notes field.0 commentsFollow -
1 voteVOTEmoreCurrently, on the standard TaskRay board users are able to select which task Lists to show/hide. However, those selections aren't reflected in the My Work tab and instead they see all of their non-completed tasks when looking at My Work. It would be useful to be able to show/hide lists in My Work so that our devs can hide backlog or on hold tasks for example like they can on the regular board.0 commentsFollow

We have contractors we work with who submit their time entries by copying over their hours from their external time tracking systems where they regularly log time entries of several hundred hours. Currently, the Hours field on the TaskRay Time object allow for 2 digits and 2 decimals, for a maximum time entry of 99.75 hours, so they are having to break up their time into a long list of sub-entries to get their time into TR. Would it be possible to increase that limit to 3 digits and 2 decimals for a maximum entry of 999.75 hours on a single time entry record?

Would like the ability to see multiple project plans at the same time in plan view. For example, I'm a project manager for an account with several projects going on simultaneously. Since I manage the entire account I want to make sure that the individual projects are being scheduled with the overall corporate roadmap in mind. Currently, I have to switch between multiple plans to see all tasks for given account.

Hello
Is there a way to have a task group inside a task group?
Task Group A
--Task A.1
--Task Group B
----Task B.1
----Task B.2
--Task A.2

Users need a way to add progress to a task that is not 0% (Not Started) or 100% (Completed) – this way the team can track percent complete of a task without the task looking like it hasn’t started.
Today our users are not able to display a Task is, for example, 50% complete because there is no option other than 0% or 100%. We have received feedback that we are not progressing on a Task when we really are, but cannot show our work in the progress bar.

Users need the ability to create Sub Task Groups much like options available in MS Project.

As a manager of multiple projects or as a portfolio manager, I need the ability to view my projects in their parent/child relationship similar to the way you can view them in the All Work tab. Being able to see the relationship, which is parent vs child, ability to minimize or expand details are all necessary for management.

In our project details view, we have formula fields that hyperlink to flows for the user to launch. It would be great if we could customize the More Actions to input this field or have a way to create an option that launches a flow.
This would save users a click from having to first access project details, especially if they are working from the Performance tab.

Use the Kanban view to see project level cards, view and filter by project attributes

We use kanban view to move tasks between lists. We have required fields at certain points in our process (ex: you can't move to Finished without Solution Delivered populated)
When I move a task between lists, I currently get a validation error when I forget a field and it reverts to the previous list. I then have to open the task, edit and save which drives me nuts. Instead, I want to be able to specify required fields (like on Salesforce path functionality) and have the system prompt me to fill it out.
Ideally: I drag a task to Finished, I want to be prompted to populate the Solution Delivered field instead of getting a validation error when I forget.

Save last "Print Options" for user
- Paper Size,
- Layout,
- Scale,
- ability to customize Header & Footer
- ability to select which columns should be printed and save this setting
Saving Print Options saves a lot of time as user doesn't need to select it each time0 commentsFollow -

Add help text to Taskray Task in Gantt view so user know (especially a new user) what this task/milestone is about. We have multiple products with different tasks templates. Users are having hard time to remember all acronyms
Possibile solution:
a) "i" icon next to task owner with help text visible while mouse is on top of it
b) help text visible while mouse is on top of Taskray Task0 commentsFollow -

Currently, users can hide out of box board filters. However, this often gets missed during onboarding as they are learning many new things and this particular step is very nuance. As an admin, I would like to have the ability to hide out of box TaskRay project, task, and board fitlers on behalf of my users. We are requesting to make this more of a global setting.

File names are only editible if viewing the file in Salesforce. We'd like the ability to edit file names from the TaskRay Enhanced Modal View.

We would like to add new field beside billable field as in attached image. If possible we would like to remove billable field as we are not using it. This should be available as predefined field in TaskRay card for time may not be used by all organisations. Let us know if this can be made available ?

It's very difficult to see full project names in the Single Project Search drop-down menu. It would be helpful if perhaps we had the ability to hover over the project in the drop-down menu and then the full name would appear.

We have some projects that have been deleted and I feel that the restores should be functioning differently. Below are a the ways I think this should act. Could you advise if this exists and if I need to change any settings for it to apply.
- Warn you that you are about to lose everything related to the project. I.e tasks and time entries
- Recovery should recover all data from that object and linked below. i.e if I restore a task I get time back. If I restore a project I get tasks and time back.

Specifically, we'd like to assign multiple tasks on the Assistant tab to the date on the calendar view. Another use case would be updating multiple tasks' estimated end dates in the Assistant tab.

Adding a deadline to a checklist item would be great. Sometimes a task is just not big enough to create an Taskray Task.

Login records specific to each user for TaskRay. This is available for Salesforce, but not TaskRay specifically. This would provide insight to users that are using the tool and those that are not.

At this time if you have a timer running on a task, you have to close out the task to edit the timer in the Kanban view from the task card or modify the timer in the toolbar. It would make sense if you could stop or start the timer from the Time tab when you have the task card open

Right now, text fields that are >255 characters cannot be viewed or edited in the Performance view tab. We would like this ability.

We are a G-Suite customer and having the TaskRay tasks published on the calendar would give visibility to the team as to what project/tasks teammates are working on. Currently folks have to check two separate calendars so having this feature would definitely improve team's productivity!
Thank you!

Our staff uses the calendar view in our Salesforce NPSP TaskRay app and really love it. At the moment, there is no calendar view on the mobile app. I think this would be a great idea, especially for orgs who use the calendar view more often than other views. Could also be connected to Google calendar on your phone.

I am interested in the ability to change the template for a project that is cloned from a different template. The scenario would be to clone a project that is in the concept stage from a very simplified template. Then as the project becomes more defined and "real", switch it to a template that includes the more comprehensive set of tasks but maintains all of the original project summary information.

Can we modify the 'due this week' section to become 'due in next 7 days'?
When it shows what is due this week it only shows that current week so when you get the email late in the week (Thur or Fri) you cannot see what is upcoming early in the next week to plan your tasks.
