The summer 2019 release added timers to the system. We would like to disable this feature as we already use a robust timer system.
The impact of this change is that to enter time through the timesheet view, we have an added click. This added click really adds up since we have to do this every time to get to that larger view of information.
Allow users to disable the timer options or default our view to timesheet view to save clicks, please.
Thank you

My project page is feeling very cluttered. It would be great if we could add a page break so that we can group like fields to clean up the view and make finding fields easier.

We would like to be able to report on or display the visibility of a project. We have created a roll-up field on the Project object to filter all team members that have a Group ID and the name starts with 'All'. If there is a number in this field (>0) we then display Public. If not, then Private. Would be great to be able to utilize the TaskRay field, rather than creating a work-around.

It would be nice to have a standard report in Salesforce that allows to pull TaskRay Projects with TaskRay Groups with TaskRay Tasks. Currently, there is only TR Project with Task Groups OR Task Groups with Tasks.
The current offerings do not allow you to show Overall Project Project Progress with TaskGroup Progress.
This limits the full capabilities of creating a Dashboard view for Executive Leads on various department projects which are similar but need to have their own private project plans.

It would be very helpful to have the ability to hide visibility of the TaskRay Feed from the Sidebar.

We have many projects that have tasks with varying time estimates to complete the task. I'd like to see project progress based on time, not completed tasks. Let me give you an example.
Project X has total estimated time to compete = 15 hrs. There are 10 tasks. Nine of them estimated at 30 min each to complete (total 4.5 hrs) and 1 task estimated to take 10.5 hrs to complete. Let's say the 9 half hour tasks are done. The current way TR calculates progress would show the project at 90% completed with in reality there's still 70% of the project left (in terms of time). I'd like to have the option to calculate Progress based on time so I can see the project at 30% completed, not 90%. This would be a million times more useful to us. Thanks!

We'd like to be able to add a custom field to the Team view on the task board. That way users can input amount of hours or % of work shared on the project.

I would like to use TaskRay in more places. Converting existing components to Lightning web components would enable this.

When I use Board filters or Power filters to select a view, I want the order of projects to show in the order they're sorted in in the Performance tab.

Hi,
Scrollbars are currently positioned in an odd position. When using a normal mouse, you can use the wheel to scroll, but some of our users are using a Wacom tablet / pen as mouse, not containing a wheel to scroll. This makes the user interface less user friendly.
The team / assistant / files / feed/ insights buttons cover the scroll bar, making it impossible to scroll in this area.
On low resolution or having more list statusses, the scrollbar is hidden outside of the screen.
Our change request:
Please change the scroll bars to be positioned in a way that they always visable and usable.
Regards,
Stijn

I was wondering if the increments for the Timer can be adjusted? I have read the updates article for June 2019 and consulted the Timer blog posts on the TaskRay help pages.
The new Timer tracks hours on a quarter (15 minutes) round-up basis. Is it possible to set the round-up from 15-minute increments to 10-minutes or 5-minutes?

I need taskray open on multiple browser tabs showing different projects or views.
Right now, my open tabs stay in sync (showing the same TaskRay view). I have tried different browsers and private browsing mode. Some how they still sync.
How can I look at a template in one window and a project in another?

The new timer functionality is very nice. I was a little disappointing to find out it was not available in the mobile app. Please consider adding timer functionality to mobile app.

We have created Record Types to separate projects by department. One department (Cities and Counties) would like Billable defaulted to TRUE and the other department (Education Solutions) would like it set to FALSE. I would like to set the billable flag default based on Record Type to accommodate their needs.

If you have 2 users with the same name, there is currently no way to know which user we are selecting to a Project team. We would like there to be a second level of differentiation, preferably 'Role', so we know which team member we are adding to the team.
In the Salesforce Record page, you can search owners with their Role included in the search. This would help us make sure we are adding the correct team member to our projects.

We use the document filing system, Worldox from World Software, and would like to be able to link the URL link of a file to a Project and/or TaskCard. TaskRay does not seem to support the wdox:// file, only http://, https:// or ftp:// formats. Is there a way we can add another URL type?
Currently we are attaching the files through the 'Upload Files' upload, but a direct URL link to the file would be helpful.

When the Simple project schedule is enabled if the project falls on a weekend, it automatically defaults to be due on the NEXT business day. Is there a way to change this to having the project due date to the business day BEFORE.
Example. If a project due date is 6/30/19, this is a Sunday. So the project due day reverts to 7/1/19. However this would make a license project (in our company) late, because it would have been due the business day before the expiration which is 6/28/19.
I have looked at making an advanced schedule, however I would still run into the same problem (I’m thinking) that if I change business hours to be closed on Sat/Sun it would still roll over to the NEXT business day, not the PREVIOUS business day which is preferred.

In the June 2019 Release, there is a timer on tasks - AWESOME! However, the timer is not available on the "My Work" vieew. I have encouraged my team to use the My Work view all the time since this cuts down on the clutter. I would really like to see the timer added to the My Work view as well. Thanks for your consideration.

Right now, when you use the Global Action button to create a new task, it does not allow changing of the owner to assign the task to someone else. This need to be able to happen, as not all tasks that get created are for the user creating the task.

It would be beneficial to allow users to record the amount of time that they spent on individual checklist items rather than the whole task.
This would be helpful especially in instances where checklists within one task are divided up between multiple people

It would be awesome if I can mass-edit a task group:
1) Assign all to one person
2) Assign all to one queue
3) Make all tasks blocked
Looking forward to being able to do this! Thanks!

Deleting a TaskRay Project record from outside the TaskRay interface should also delete its related Task Groups and Tasks. We have several users leveraging List Views to mass update TaskRay Projects, or open up TaskRay Project tabs to view in Salesforce Classic record detail.
Right now if you delete a TaskRay Project via the Salesforce Record (classic), it won't delete the related Task Groups or Tasks.
Logging here in the hopes that we're not the only ones with this use case, and others would like to see a Project's related Task Groups and Tasks be deleted when the Project is deleted from its Salesforce record.0 commentsFollow -

We need the ability to change the layout of the project, especially to kanban view.
You can currently restrict field access on externally shared projects, but you can't hide certain things on the Task Card, such as:
- Checklist Tab (Checklist & Checklist Items)
- Ability to open Task details at all
- Team info (person's name & photo assigned to task)
- Team & Insights sidebar

we would like to be able to add ~20+ columns in the portfolio. Today, we typically get cut off around 10 or 12

It would be nice to have a Gantt chart lightning component that we could add to the standard project record in lightning. I prefer the record view to see somethings, I can work on the kanban view, but I can't see the Gantt, and this would be helpful.

We have recently been updating some processes which led to having to create additional tasks. These tasks need to be added to the template but they also need to be added to existing active projects. When a new task is created, it automatically moved down to the bottom of the list (in plan view.) The request is to be able to insert a task to a specific location in the project. The other issue that came up is when a new task was added it re-arranged all of the tasks. This was incredibly frustrating for the pm who now has to re-order the tasks which would take a significant amount of time. Especially if it needs to be done to multiple projects. He recommended being able to lock the order of tasks. There has to be some way to modify a project without having to touch all of the tasks again.

When you use the wand in the plan view to bulk add team members, there isn't a way to see more information about the users. We have ~10 Mark Johnsons and have no way to know which one should be selected, see screenshot.
Additionally, when I add a team member via the lightning page, it requires me to enter a team member name and select a user, and regardless of what I put in the name field it is overwritten by the user that was looked up. we don't want to enter this name

It would be great to make the TaskRay Calendar available publicly via sites. We would like to use this to post our campaigns to our website that can inform our constituents about events coming up that they might be interested in. So we would need to be able to define the campaign type(s) that would be available publicly. It would also be nice if this calendar could have a URL that could be defined for each event so that when the visitor to our site clicks on an event that interests them, we could define where that link takes them (ie, to more information about the event, another web page, a registration page that we could define, etc.)
