There needs to be a way to see both predecessors AND successors in the task view. We have design tasks that we assign to our graphic design lead that are dependent on the blog task, but they would have no way to see the blog task without going to the plan view. This seems like a critical feature for dependencies.

I am in need of a quick way to archive tasks instead of marking them as "Completed". Putting a check box directly on the Task Card for easy access would help tremendously.
I do not know which steps I will be skipping when I clone and begin a project so quickly archiving these steps so that they are excluded from the completion percentage is the ideal route.0 commentsFollow -

When utilizing External Ids for a sync, template projects could contain fields that need to be excluded from the clone process. If we could pass a field exception to the Flow clone methods to exclude from the clone process, that would help tremendously.
As a stepping stone, any field marked as an external Id would probably be excluded from the clone process in general since they need to be unique.

Set color per Task list and display it by the list Color in the calendar view. Currently, the different colors of the tasks are set by their project, this view is confusing for our users. It would be great to have one color for all the task related to each list type – for example, all the color in list finished will have blue color in the calendar view .

We have a need the ability for Users to see all Tasks and Checklists of other multiple Users in a Board Filter.

It would be helpful if tasks were ordinal in the kanban view based on dependencies.

Can we lock down board filters to only be editable by board owners?
That would prevent unintentional edits to board filters that could distort views.
Thanks!

Currently, when viewing a custom currency field in portfolio view, it does not display the currency symbol. Can formatting for currency fields, and all custom fields, be updated to match the formatting seen in a list view?

Please allow the creation of a new task from My Work. A lot of people live out of this view but need to navigate away from it to create new tasks on a project.

Currently when you click on a project in portfolio view it takes you back to Kanban view. Some of our project managers like Row, Calendar, or Plan, having it default to Kanban creates an extra click every time. Please default the view to go to whatever view the user was last in All Work, which is the way TaskRay functions when you leave and come back to it.

We would like to see a little more contrast or ability to change colors in some of the screens. Particularly in Plan View when you hover over a task the date bar highlights, but on some of our monitors of some of our older members the highlight is so light they cannot make out the date they are dragging too.

When we use TaskRay Console and the user clicks the "view in TaskRay" from the lightning page, the TaskRay view appears in a new tab with the project pop-up window. We would like to not have the pop-up window as our intention of using TaskRay Console is not to use it at all.

We would like to be able to hide/show/add options to the list of options the user sees when they select "insert stitch" in plan view. Ideally, we would like to hide some of the default options, and then we would like to add our own quick actions to create child object records.

It would be great if only the board filter creator could edit the board filter. This one people do not inadvertently adjust the filter.
Thanks for considering!

It would be great to select a variety of checklist items at one time and change the owner rather than having to move their image on a checklist item one at a time. This would be similar to your feature already existent on the Plan View for a task.
Sometimes we have 15 checklist items, which is very inefficient, to drag and drop an owner's icon over each item individually.

Currently, our users create stand alone tasks (not tied to a project). They are considered light consult tasks and do not have the breadth necessary to create a Project. However, they would like to see these tasks included on the Plan View so they can see the timelines for everything they are working on.

It would be great if, within Taskgroups, I could establish a sub-hierarchies so that end users can better understand the context of their tasks. It is a great feature in MS Project and really helps folks to more easily visualize the process flow

It would be great to have the ability to track issues on a project. With the ability to track status, priority, expected due date and owner. The log would need to be customer facing so that they can see the progress of all issues.
A lot of my onboarding project having bugs and other requests that are not necessarily task level items.

Taskray should allow non licensed Taskray users (but Salesforce licensed users) to see the lighting components. They're simpler than the external link solution currently available and for most users only interested in the status of a project (for instance sales) this is the perfect amount of information.

Need a list status for when we "cancel" a task. The task should not appear as over-due, but should not be calculated in overall completion %. These are use cases where we may have scheduled to do something with a customer and they cancelled, we want to create a second task and see the original one was cancelled.

Can we make the Portfolio tab as default tab so that whenever I enter the app no matter where I left the app, the Portfolio tab should open by default?

If I click on a link in a checklist, the link opens, but when I go back to the checklist, that checklist item is in edit mode. The user then has to save or cancel.
I love the idea of links in the checklists. but I can easily see our users accidentally editing the checklist after they click on a link.

It would be really nice to have the ability when adding team members to the Team list on a project if we could specify their role on the project.
We sometimes have a primary and secondary person working on the project. It would be nice if we could know which one is primary and which one is secondary. We also have projects that have Programmers and Analysts on the same project. Again it would be nice if we could know by looking at the team list who is filling each role on the project.

Sometimes, Checklist items need to be promoted or escalated to their own Task for the sake of tracking and monitoring, due to changes in scope, priority, etc. A product we used to use had this feature and it was very handy for brainstorming and ideation around an "epic" task (or a task that wasn't as specific as originally intended), and then breaking out those sub-tasks to be prioritized and tracked in different sprints. Often, as you begin to work with teams and hash out the actual work behind a Task card, you discover that certain Checklist items (or "sub-tasks") are really larger Tasks that just need to be tracked at a higher level. Having a "one-click" capability of promoting these items to Task cards would allow for rapid team refinement of Task boards.

If I have a task group with one task inside of it, and I make that task “internal only”, the task group still appears in the export. I think this is a little confusing, and the ideal behavior is if all of the tasks within a group are filtered out due to the internal only feature, then the task group shouldn’t appear either.

Add a checkbox on checklist item with workflow that assigns the owner of the checklist item to the task owner

It would be great if, when a status list is collapsed, there were a notification bubble showing the number of tasks in that status list. That way it wouldn't be necessary to open a status list to verify if there's anything in it.
My organization uses many status lists that my team doesn't use, so certain status lists are always empty for me. I have to collapse status lists because they don't all fit on the page without scrolling.

Enhancement Request: add chatter to external sharing link. In some cases, the CEO/COO/CFO of a customer does not have a standard external license applied to their contact but want to see updates that the external sharing link does not provide, such as chatter. It would be of great value to have the public facing chatter available in read only for these types of individuals that would not have a standard license.

We would like to default to the plan view when the user opens a project from the portfolio tab. today it is defaulting to the Kanban.

If you click to select a date in Plan view for a task, you can only close the window by selecting a date or clicking the x. If I open a window for one task, then open a window for the second task, both remain open and overlap one another. It would be nice if I can only open one at a time.
