Currenly "Project Schedule" accounts for holidays and adjust the work schedule.
It would be great if we can add in task assignee vacation days which would auto adjust project days for those days the employee is missing.

We want to be able to control the order that our task fields are displayed when the user clicks the "+" in the plan view. Many of our task fields will not be displayed in the plan view very frequently (if at all) and we want to move those to the bottom.

We get a lot of feedback that the "list" label on the task status field is not intuitive. Could this be changed?

I would like to be able to treat Milestones as stand alone tasks - not as a part of the task group "ungrouped" so that I can drop them in the Plan View in sequence between my task groups.

The TaskRay Board is an excellent component to get both a summary and detailed view of a project. It is a record-level component, however it does not have a contextual option so that it can be filtered to display only the projects related to the record where the component is added, such as Account or Opportunity.
Without this option, users are confused when navigating to a specific record but then see unrelated projects and tasks on the TaskRay Board. The same is true for the TaskRay Feed component which can also be added to a record page but cannot be filtered to show feeds only for that record.
Thanks for considering this important usability feature.

The scroll bar in the plan view gets covered up by the info/assistant/files/feed/team pane when it is collapsed. Can this be fixed?

Currently, it is not possible to toggle all selected task groups open in plan view. Each task group has to be individually toggled open or closed. Please add a feature to allow users to toggle all selected task groups open or closed from plan view.

We use recurring tasks and each have time associated. When we pull reports to estimate capacity, that estimated time does not show up for future weeks since the previous task is still open. The proposed idea is to have the option for estimated time for upcoming recurring tasks to still show up in our reporting.

Is there a way to where I can set for one of my users to be able to move her tasks to finish without being able to edit the tasks names and info on the inside?

Add a feature where holidays would be able to be placed on the campaign calendar without having to create a new campaign. This could simply be a templated overlay to the campaign calendar.

In the "Stitch a TaskRay Project" Apex Class, I would like a variable to set the Task Group Name. This would allow us to quickly identify the correct set of tasks when looking at similarly named task groups in a larger project. E.g. If I have a set of tasks that are stitched in every month I would like to name them -
Monthly Tasks - January 2019
Monthly Tasks - February 2019
I am able to do this for the target date using a formula such as "DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY())+1,15)". I'd like to use a similar formula to name the Task Group.

When we are in the Plan view, we would like to be able to edit the task name without having to open the SFDC page for each task

When a task has been finished and it has a dependent task linked to it the dependent tasks moves from Holding over to To do or another value. This will allow tasks that can't be done due to a dependency to be on hold and off of our to-do list, but once we the dependency is removed they move to another status automatically. While this can be done with a validation rule, it doesn't account for the dependency type. There will need to be a different action for each dependency type.

We would like to have the ability to mark projects are blocked and have the project tab turn red like a blocked task does. The reason for this is sometimes we have projects that either can't be started due to something out of my team's control or a project is halted mid-way through and is on hold due to something out of my team's control. While a project can have a task that is blocked the project could in theory still move forward.

Use case: I have Parent Projects set up with 4 Sub Projects within each one. Every time a Parent Project gets assigned to me I get 5 emails in a row now (one email for each Project that I'm being assigned to.)
Request: ability to only receive one email for the Parent Project that's assigned to me. I don't need notifications for the Sub Projects also being assigned to me.0 commentsFollow -
1 voteVOTEmoreWe'd like to figure out a round-robin option for project assignments given bandwidth and workload.Basically we have 3 different units who are able to accept new projects and we need to figure out a way to round-robin these so as to evenly distribute work. Currently, our code looks at users assigned to accounts based on a region, and we are finding that the bulk of the work is being auto-assigned to one group.0 commentsFollow

We'd like to set a board filter and it show a pop-up number that will show the amount of projects that fit that criteria, similar to how you see Facebook messages or even unread chatters on a task.

The current baseline feature is nice, but only from an individual project perspective. We work entirely with templates, and have automated baseline creation when our projects reach certain progress percentages. Now, we'd like to be able to pull reports that can tell us things like the average duration/actual hours for phases of a certain type of project, the number of times tasks had schedule conflicts or were overdue, or by what degree certain tasks/groups tend to exceed or hit their estimates. I know there are ways to do this via customization, but some standard features would go a long way towards helping us analyze our processes and teams.

We need an ability to alert users when a task has a schedule conflict. We want the notification to include both the preceding and dependent task owners who are affected by the conflict and give them details about the conflict in the notification. Right now, all we can do is notify the dependent task owner but can't provide them details as to what is causing the conflict.

Currently, you can't add notes to time entries when creating a time entry via the Timesheet or the TR Time Lightning Component. With the Timesheet, users can create a time entry and then click "edit" to add a note but people forget to go back and make updates. The Lightning Component doesn't allow for edits, so you simply can't add notes via that method.
We also want to require notes on time entries, and not being able to enter notes when creating a new entry makes it so that we can't implement a validation rule for this requirement.

It's possible to share Projects with all associated Tasks, but there is no option available to share or restrict access to specific Tasks.
Some users (e.g. Customer Community Users) should only have access to specific tasks within a project they are teammember of. This should be based on owner or other criteria like Task type or name.4 commentsFollow -

Hello,
In project plan view, there is a '+' (plus sign ) menu showing all the fields alphabetically. We are requesting this drop down should show the fields exposed in FieldSet only. In our case, we don't use 'Override Project Schedule' filed so it is removed in FieldSet, but the plus menu still shows it and cause some user confusion.

We handle accounting functions for several different clients. To keep on top of everything we have been using a Project for each client and Project Task to track our responsibilities for each clients. Each one of our Task would have a procedure that goes along with each task. You have the ability for each task to repeat which has been great at keeping us on schedule. However, currently your repeat function does not have the ability to carry over anything we attach to it. This would be a great help.
Thanks.

I would love the ability to save custom views of TaskRay, rather than filters. Filters are nice, but all they can do is remove data, they can't add it back. It would like to set up some criteria, set my date view, set the projects selected, choose plan, kanban, etc., and then save for future use.

In standard Salesforce, when a calendar component is shown, the first day of the week is computed based on the language/country settings. We live in the netherlands and the first day of the week is monday. The calendar components in Taskray starts with sunday as first day of the week. This is confusing because we use both, Salesforce default components and Taskray components. Especially when quickly switching between views users get confused.
According to ISO 8601 monday is the first day of the week, a couple of countries, including US starts the week with sunday instead. But this leaves a large user base unhappy. So I suppose it might be a good feature to add! :-)

Our users have given us this feedback regularly - they find that dragging the trashbin onto the tasks is not intuitive and would like this to be revisited.

Can we somehow highlight what has changed in a project in last x days? We really want to enable users to collaborate in the tool more, but how does a PMI easily see what tasks have been updated by his team members since the last time he viewed the project? Many of our users use Smartsheets today and can visually see what has changed since the last time they viewed the sheet. 0 commentsFollow -

Can we configure which labels should be along the blocks in the gantt view? it defaults to field name today, but users have asked for things like having the name on the right and the date on the left of their milestones 0 commentsFollow
