You can transfer TaskRay licenses between users. To do so, remove a license from a user that no longer needs access to TaskRay and then reassign it to the new designated user. This process also incorporates removing TaskRay permission set assignments from the user whose access is revoked and reassigning any open work to other team members.
After the license is removed from the user, they will lose access to TaskRay.
Remove License [Admin]
- From Setup, navigate to Installed Packages.
- Click on TaskRay.
- Click on Manage Licenses.
- Locate the user that you want to remove a license from and click Remove next to their name.
- In the confirmation dialog, click OK to confirm.
Tip
If you would like to remove licenses for multiple users at once, you can do so by clicking on the Remove Multiple Users button.
Remove Permission Set [Admin]
- From Setup, navigate to Users | Permission Sets.
- Click on TaskRay - Standard Access.
- Click on Manage Assignments.
- Using the checkboxes, select the users from which you want to remove the permission set.
- Click Remove Assignments.

Assign License and Permission Set to a New User [Admin]
Now that the TaskRay license has been removed from a user, it can be reassigned to another user. Keep in mind, after you assign the license to the new user, you will also have to assign the proper TaskRay permission set to them.
Follow the Assign Licenses and Permission Sets instructions to do so.
Reassign Open Work
As the user whose license was revoked loses access to TaskRay, it is recommended to remove them from project teams and reassign their open work to other active TaskRay users. This will ensure that all open work is accounted for after they lose access to TaskRay and TaskRay data.
