  • Calendar View: New Calendar View that visualizes task distribution throughout a given month and allows scheduling and rescheduling tasks using drag and drop. Tasks are displayed as bars on the Calendar, where bar length indicates task duration and bar color indicates the projects that the tasks are associated with.
  • Calendar View: Calendar shows one month at a time with the current month as the default. Users have the ability to switch between months to view past and future tasks.
  • Calendar View: Tasks can be scheduled and rescheduled on the Calendar using drag and drop actions. Task durations can be adjusted by pulling the right edge of the task bar, the end date, to a new date on the Calendar.
  • Calendar View: Milestones are indicated by a diamond symbol next to the name on the task bar on the Calendar.
  • Calendar View: When in Calendar View, Task Details can be accessed by clicking on the task bar. Hovering over the task bar will display task information with the option to edit or view more details.
  • Calendar View: Every task bar has a checkbox that indicates whether or not the Task is completed. The checkboxes can be checked off to mark the tasks Finished.
  • Calendar View: Clicking on a day tile on the Calendar will open up the Create New Task Details window. If only one project is selected, the Project field on Task Details will be populated automatically.
  • Calendar View: The Calendar is optimized for printing. Printing the calendar can be done using the Print button in the calendar toolbar.
  • Calendar - Assistant: When in Calendar View, a new Assistant tab will appear in the right-hand sidebar, which will list all unscheduled tasks for the projects that are selected.
  • Calendar – Assistant: In the Assistant, tasks will be color-coded and grouped by project. They will be sorted alphabetically within each project group.
  • Calendar - Assistant: In the Assistant, Task Details can be accessed by clicking on the task name.
  • Calendar - Assistant: Tasks without dates can be dragged from the Assistant onto the Calendar to be scheduled.       
  • Calendar - Agenda: New functionality to generate a task Agenda. Agenda is organized by days of the week, showing tasks that are due in chronological order.
  • Calendar - Agenda: Agenda shows one week at a time, with the current week as the default. Users have the ability to switch between weeks to view past and future tasks.
  • Calendar - Agenda: In the Agenda, task details are accessed by clicking on the task line. Hovering over the task line will display task information with the option to edit or view more details.
  • Calendar - Agenda: Every task line has a checkbox that indicates whether or not the Task is completed. The checkboxes can be checked off to mark the tasks Finished.
  • Calendar - Agenda: Agenda is optimized for printing. Printing the Agenda can be done using the Print button in the calendar toolbar.
  • Kanban Sorting: Enhanced sorting capabilities for the Kanban View. Ability to sort the Kanban Board by standard and custom fields. The sort options will be controlled by the same grouping field set that controls Row View.
  • Kanban Sorting: Added one new option to the default sort list: Start Date. Changed the name of the Deadline sorting option to End Date.
  • Kanban Sorting: Task card drag and drop is now available when sorted by any sort option, no longer limited to just Whiteboard Sort.
  • File Sorting: The Files tab in TaskRay now allows sorting the list of files by name, date, and file type.
  • Daily Planner Email: The TaskRay Daily Planner Email will now include a Recent Activity section. The section will provide a summary of all Chatter activity from the past 24 hours on a user’s projects.
  • Daily Planner Email: The Recent Activity section in the Daily Planner Email will list specific tasks, grouped by project, where Chatter activity took place. Task names will link directly to the Chatter tab on the Task Details in TaskRay.
  • Auto-Follow Tasks in Project: Clicking on the three dots next to a project name in the left sidebar will display a new option to auto-follow task activity for that project.
  • Template Clone: The template search bar will now automatically display 5 recently viewed templates.
  • Modal: Modals have been upgraded in accordance with Salesforce Lightning Design System recommendations.
  • Opt-in: The New User Tour and the New Features Tour now have checkboxes that allow users to sign up for email notifications regarding new TaskRay features.
  • Loading Mask: The loading mask no longer appears when switching between views in TaskRay.

 

Fixes:

  • Fixed the issue with the data trickler, child projects, and process builder to clone a project.
