What types of integrations does TaskRay support?
TaskRay is a 100% Salesforce-native application. Not only does this provide a seamless and secure experience for users to manage work cross-functionally, but it also provides options for setting up integrations with other applications.
You can find information about some available integrations here: Integrations.
That said, the list of integrations listed in the link above is not exhaustive. In summary, if the app that you plan on integrating with TaskRay can be integrated with Salesforce, then there is a high possibility that it will integrate with TaskRay as well.
What are the requirements for setting up integrations with TaskRay?
While every integration will require different configurations, the key thing to keep in mind for TaskRay is that the integration will need to have access to TaskRay data. This can be granted using permission sets and/or a TaskRay license (depending on the integration).
On-Platform Salesforce Integrations
On-platform integrations include apps that are installed into your Salesforce instance. Generally speaking, it is possible to integrate such apps with TaskRay by establishing relationships between applicable objects and granting the necessary level of access.
Off-Platform / External Salesforce Integrations
External integrations are those that typically require an Integration User that allows connecting the external app with Salesforce. Generally speaking for TaskRay, the external application will need access to TaskRay data in order to work. This can be accomplished by assigning the applicable Integration User a permission set that grants access to TaskRay objects and a TaskRay license.
