The Collaboration Experience is one of TaskRay's external collaboration options. This option allows leveraging TaskRay in any Digital Experience Site configured in your org and granting external users full access to TaskRay. With the Collaboration Experience, TaskRay becomes a portion of a Digital Experience Site that may contain other components, applications, and data. This is a great approach for organizations that have robust processes and requirements for working with external collaborators via Digital Experience Sites. Using Collaboration Experience, it becomes possible to also incorporate TaskRay into the process to allow external users to manage work and collaborate with internal TaskRay users.
Before you proceed: think about your external collaboration requirements 
If you are looking to collaborate with external stakeholders using only TaskRay (i.e. without incorporating other applications or data in the Digital Experience Site), then we recommend reviewing the Collaboration Hub option. The Collaboration Hub feature allows setting up a portal specific to TaskRay to grant external users access to manage work within the app. However, if your business requires other applications and data for external collaboration, then the Collaboration Experience option might be a better fit.

Collaboration Experience allows leveraging the full TaskRay app in Salesforce Digital Experience Sites. With this option, TaskRay becomes one of the elements of the larger external collaboration process within an organization. This is a great option for organizations that use Digital Experience Sites for working with external users for various purposes, such as for support or invoicing, and need to also have a way to manage project work with them using TaskRay.

TaskRay can be used with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites (formerly known as Communities) to provide access to external users like customers, partners, or vendors. TaskRay can be included in an existing Digital Experience Site by adding TaskRay components to Community Pages.
