Resource Summary row
Each Flux Resource has a top-line stats bar that summarizes all of the Projects and Tasks displayed in the timeline.
Color coding of the summary row blocks is based on the following:
- Blue = Greater than 0 hours, less than or equal to 100% forecast utilization
- Red = Greater than 100% forecast utilization or >0 hrs work assigned on a day with 0 capacity (Queues and Time Away dates)
- Grey = 0 hours forecasted
- Orange = Time Away present
- Light Blue = Resource with 0 hour Utilization Target (typically Queues)
Examples of each are illustrated below:
Within the Resource Timeline, you can easily drill down from a Flux Resource to see the underlying TaskRay Project and TaskRay Task data that makes up the summary stats.
Drill-down: Project level
Click on the arrow icon next to a Resource name to open underlying TaskRay Project details as shown below.
Above, we see the 5 TaskRay Projects that have Tasks assigned to Andrew Franklin within the date range of the timeline.
TaskRay Project daily summary stats are comprised of the following elements:
- Daily Forecast Hours (4 hours of work forecast for the Sunnyside Resort Project on Sept 22)
- Project Utilization % -- ie. How much of the Resource’s total capacity is filled by this Project? (Daily Forecast Hours / Daily Resource Capacity = 50%)
Drill-down: Task level
Click on the arrow icon next to a Project name to open underlying TaskRay Task details as shown below.
Above we see the 2 TaskRay Tasks related to the Dynamite Springs Project assigned to Andrew Franklin within the date range of the timeline.
TaskRay Task daily summary stats are comprised of the following elements:
- Daily Forecast Hours (2.4 hours of work forecast for the “Customize Solution” Task on September 22)
- Task Utilization % -- ie. How much of the Resource’s total capacity is filled by this Task? (Daily Forecast Hours / Daily Resource Capacity = 30%)
