Right after you connect, these three prompts prove the connection works and show you the shape of what is possible. Each one is safe to run and returns something useful in seconds.
In this article:
- The hello world
- The instant status
- The catch-up
The hello world
The moment. You just connected and want proof this thing is real.
Try this
"What are my open tasks due this week? Flag anything overdue or blocked."
What happens. Your assistant works out who you are, pulls your open tasks with deadlines in range, and calls out the ones that need attention first.
What you need. Any TaskRay license with Salesforce access. Scope is limited to tasks you own or can see.
Pro tip. If it comes back empty, confirm you are connected to the right org. You can ask "which org am I connected to?" to check, and if you work in a sandbox, make sure you connected through the sandbox option.
The instant status
The moment. Someone asks where things stand on the Acme project, and you would rather answer in thirty seconds than thirty clicks.
Try this
"Summarize the Acme onboarding project: what is complete, what is blocked, and what is due in the next two weeks."
What happens. Your assistant reads the project, its task groups, and task statuses, and gives you a summary you can paste straight into Slack.
What you need. Any TaskRay license. You must have view access to the project in Salesforce.
The catch-up
The moment. You were out for a few days and want the delta, not the whole board.
Try this
"Which of my projects had tasks change in the last 7 days? Summarize what moved in each."
What happens. Your assistant lists recently modified tasks across your projects and groups the changes by project, so you can scan what happened while you were gone.
What you need. Any TaskRay license. Scope is limited to projects you can see.
