This feature is available on the following TaskRay Product Editions:

In TaskRay, your assigned tasks may include checklist items that break down the work into smaller, more manageable steps. Checklist items help you track granular details and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. As you complete each step, check off the corresponding item—this not only keeps your workflow organized but also provides visibility into task progress for your team.
Manage Checklists on Tasks
There are two main ways to manage checklists in the TaskRay app: through Task Details and in My Work.
Task Details
When working on a task, you can review and manage its checklist items from Task Details. TaskRay provides visual indicators on tasks that have checklist items. For example, in Kanban View, task cards display checklist indicators and show checklist completion:
To access the checklist on a task:
- Locate the task on which you would like to review checklists and open its Task Details.
- Click the Checklist tab.
- From here, you can:
- Review checklists
- Check items off as you complete them
- Add new checklist items
- Edit or delete existing items
This is a great place to manage the finer details of a task, especially if you’re working through multiple subtasks or dependencies.
My Work
If you’re managing your tasks in My Work tab, you can view checklist items in your list of assignments. This makes it easy to track progress and check items off without navigating away from your personalized task view.
In My Work, if a task has checklist items, you will see a chevron next to the task name. Once expanded, the checklist items will appear, allowing you to check them off as you work through them.
For more information, refer to the My Work article.
TaskRay Checklist Lightning Component
TaskRay also provides the Checklist Lightning Component that can be placed on the TaskRay Task object record page. This can be useful if you need to reference checklists when viewing tasks in the standard Salesforce interface. Reach out to your internal Salesforce Admin if you need to get it set up in your org.
